Today we welcomed the newest wave of teachers to WHHS! 🎉 Our orientation gave them the chance to learn about our district, meet the incredible staff who will support them, and get all the essential information they’ll need for the year ahead. Superintendent Neil Cavallaro and Mayor Borer stopped by to share encouraging remarks and wish them good luck as they begin this exciting journey. We’re thrilled to have such a talented group joining our team and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll accomplish this school year! ✨📚

Mackrille Elementary held their school field day today, and students had a blast enjoying a wide variety of activities! From tug of war and playground fun to ground races, a live DJ, and an inflatable relay race—there was no shortage of excitement. After all their hard work this year, these students truly earned a day filled with fun and celebration! 🎉🎈
Curious Creatures Visit Mackrille Elementary! Yesterday, our kindergarteners at Mackrille Elementary School had an unforgettable experience thanks to a visit from Curious Creatures! 🐾 Students got the chance to meet and learn about a variety of amazing animals, including a chinchilla, ferret, lizards, a baby alligator, a snake, and more! They discovered fun facts about each animal’s behavior, lifespan, and unique characteristics. Thank you to Curious Creatures for bringing this hands-on learning experience to our school. Our students were fascinated, engaged, and inspired — it’s a day they won’t soon forget! 🐍🦎🐊
