There were over 100 district-wide submissions for the 2024 Earth Day Contest. K-4 students were invited to create an Earth-saving superhero, grades 5-8 students were challenged to transform trash into a new useful item through an Upcycle Project, and grades 9-12 students were encouraged to develop an environmental action plan to make West Haven High School eco-friendlier.
