I can't believe it's almost the end of the year. My students have been working hard all year and it has definitely paid off! I am so proud of each one of you! Thank you for making my first year as a teacher the best!

Kindergarten

ELA: We are continuing to practice already taught skills such as the letters and sounds but are practicing blending the sounds together to read words such as s-i-t spells sit!
Math: We are continuing to practice identifying, counting, and writing numbers 0-20 as well as addition and subtraction and identifying 2D and 3D shapes!

Grade 1
ELA: We are working on reading comprehension and phonics skills such as long vowel teams, blends, and digraphs. 
Math: We are working on reviewing previously taught skills (addition/subtraction within 100, place value, greater than, less than, equal to)

Grade 3
ELA: We are working with fiction and non-fiction focusing on reading comprehension skills such as recognizing the main idea and finding text evidence to prove the main idea.

Math: We are working on previously taught skills (rounding, word problems, fractions, time, etc)
