Mackrille Elementary School class in early January, teaching students about table etiquette and manners and providing a multi-course meal.

The class earned the opportunity by winning a reading challenge at the school. Students ate off of formal plates that had been stored at WHHS and that were previously used for the high school's lunch waves decades ago. They had a salad as the first course, followed by lemon chicken, a baked potato and green beans as the main course, and mini pies for dessert. Other schools will also soon have a chance for a "fine dining" lunch.
